Ride through the Late Baroque towns of the Val di Noto (UNESCO World Heritage), from Noto and Modica to Ragusa Ibla, reach Syracuse and the island of Ortigia, the Vendicari nature reserve and the fishing village of Marzamemi, or cycle in western Sicily between Trapani, Marsala, Segesta and Monreale. The mild climate means you can ride from March to December.

Book with a licensed operator. In Sicily some people sell bike tours without a licence. Always ask for the business licence: ours is Puglia Region licence no. 873 of 06.11.2006, with insurance and a travel guarantee fund.

Everything you need to know
about cycling in Sicily

It is a cycling holiday without a group or guide: we book your hotels, provide the bike, move your luggage every day and give you GPS tracks and a roadbook in our app, so you ride at your own pace. Our tours last 6 to 9 days.

Spring (March to June) and autumn (September to November) are ideal: warm but not hot. Thanks to the mild climate you can ride from March to December; in August some tours have a supplement.

Yes. Several routes are easy or moderate with 35–60 km a day, and every tour can be booked with an e-bike, which makes the hills of the Iblei mountains much easier.

The nearest airports are Catania, Palermo, Trapani and Comiso, depending on the tour. We can organise transfers from the airport or station on request.

Touring (hybrid) bikes are included in the price; e-bikes and road bikes are available with a supplement. Helmet, lock, bag and repair kit are always included.
